  1.                     - A note on the PCX.DOC file -

  3.   Upon writing the documentation for the objects contained in the PCX unit,
  4. I am attempting to use the format Borland has established in their Turbo
  5. Vision manual. I think it would be nice if all authors maintained consistancy
  6. and since Borland has established presedence, I copied their style. I
  7. sincerely hope Borland is not offended. What does everyone else say to this
  8. style of documentation?

  28.   As the author of these programs/units, I have spend considerable time in
  29. their developement. In an effort to be fair with the times as well as
  30. promote communications with other programmers, I am requesting a $2.00 reg-
  31. istration fee (for overseas orders please add $2.00 for additional costs,
  32. $4.00 total ). This fee includes S&H.

  34.   This registration fee will provide you with all source code for the
  35. programs/units included in this file. Additionally I will include a couple
  36. of free reference documents explaining the PCX file format and encoding/
  37. decoding method. It will also entitle you to update notification when and
  38. if they occur as well as telephone support ( I would be glad to hear from
  39. you ). I have thoroughly tested these programs/units before releasing and
  40. you should find them bug free, however . . .

  42.   Also, ( I have to say this, argg! ) as with all shareware or freeware, the
  43. programs are for use as is. You may use them, distribute them, etc. but the
  44. author is not responsible for any problems incurred from their use, in part
  45. or in whole. If you distribute them please leave the contents as received.

  47.   All the enclosed compiled code was written and compiled using Borland's 
  48. Turbo Pascal language compiler and as such all Borland license statements 
  49. must be respected.
